Privacy Policy

How we handle the personal information you share when you use AI Packaging.

Last updated: 25 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Packaging Pvt Ltd (“AI Packaging”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, request a quote, configure packaging in our 3D studio, or place an order. By using our website and services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Information you provide

  • Account details — your name, email address, phone number, and a password (stored only as a salted cryptographic hash, never in plain text). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
  • Quote and order details — your name, company name, email, phone number, shipping address, product specifications (dimensions, material, finish, quantity, colours), and any notes you add.
  • Uploaded artwork — logos, designs, and print files you upload for us to reproduce on your packaging, along with their file names.
  • Communications — messages, feedback, and newsletter sign-ups you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address — used to rate-limit submissions, protect against abuse, and secure password-reset requests.
  • Cookies and local storage — a secure authentication cookie to keep you signed in, short-lived cookies to protect the Google sign-in flow, and your shopping cart stored locally in your browser. See “Cookies” below.

Payment information

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card or bank details on our servers — we retain only the payment status and reference for your order.

2. How we use your information

  • To prepare quotes and estimates you request.
  • To process, manufacture, track, and deliver your packaging orders.
  • To reproduce your uploaded artwork on the products you order.
  • To create and authenticate your account and keep it secure.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To comply with our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate — for example payment gateways, hosting and infrastructure providers, and logistics/courier partners — and only to the extent needed to provide their service.
  • Google, if you choose to sign in with your Google account, in line with Google’s own privacy policy.
  • Authorities, where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site: an authentication session cookie so you stay signed in, and short-lived security cookies that protect the Google sign-in flow. Your shopping cart is stored in your browser’s local storage on your device. Because these are essential to core functionality, disabling them may prevent parts of the site from working. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as needed to fulfil orders, provide our services, and meet legal, accounting, and tax requirements. When it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it. Uploaded artwork is retained to allow reprints and to resolve any production queries.

7. How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), salted cryptographic hashing of passwords, session tokens, and role-based access controls that limit who inside our team can view order and customer data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to address vulnerabilities promptly.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you and request a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
  • Withdraw consent or object to certain processing.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Third-party links

Our website may link to third-party sites (for example WhatsApp or a payment provider). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
