Print quality and a clean white face matter more than strength. The box is seen before it is handled.
It goes through a courier
Drop, crush and stacking load decide the spec. Print is secondary to ply and burst strength.
It is given as a gift
The opening is part of the product. Weight, lid resistance and finish do the work.
200 units on rigid boxes, 500 on mono cartons, corrugated boxes and paper bags, 1,000 on labels and food packaging. Below those numbers the die and plate setup costs more than the boxes themselves.
